We run the compliance program, so your engineers can stay on the product
Kaamel Technology Inc. takes certification work end to end — the platform, the coaching, and the audit — for companies selling into markets whose rules they did not grow up with.
Nearly 200 leading global enterprises · Automation built on Vanta and Drata · Local-language delivery
What we do
One team covers the frameworks a buyer is most likely to ask for, plus the advisory and response work that surrounds them.
Certification, managed end to end
SOC 2, HIPAA, ISO 27001 and 27701, GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, the EU AI Act and EO 14117. We select and operate the automation platform, write the policies, stand up the controls, and coordinate the auditor through to the report.
vCISO and vDPO
A security and privacy lead on subscription, for teams that need the judgement and the accountable name without a full-time hire.
Incident response
When a regulator writes, a customer's counsel asks, or data is exposed, we work the response with you rather than handing over a checklist.
How we work
- Silicon Valley and Asia, handing off daily — Delivery runs in both regions and in both languages, so auditor questions, customer security reviews and regulator correspondence do not wait for one office to wake up.
- Your team contributes hours, not weeks — Policies, evidence and auditor communication are ours. Your engineers make guided configuration changes, mostly in cloud features you already pay for.
- We tell you what not to do — Experience across nearly 200 programs means we can say in advance which controls matter for your buyer and which work is wasted effort.
Where the work is visible
Compliance claims should be checkable. These are customers whose programs we ran, and whose status you can verify without asking us.
The company
Kaamel Technology Inc. was founded in 2022 and is headquartered at 340 E Middlefield Rd, Mountain View, California. We are platform partners of Drata and Vanta, listed on AWS Marketplace, and reachable at info@kaamel.com.
The team
Kaamel was founded in 2022 and is led by co-founder and CEO Zheng Bu, who has held executive roles at global security vendors and at internet companies operating across borders. The consultants around him come from multinationals, internet companies and security firms, and have sat on both sides of the table: as the in-house leads who owned a compliance program, and as the advisors who delivered one.
That mix is deliberate. Delivery runs from Silicon Valley and Asia, in the language your team works in, so the same team can face an auditor in one time zone and an engineering team in another without losing a day. And with nearly 200 certification programs behind it, the judgement is the product: which controls your buyer will actually scrutinise, which evidence holds up, and which work is wasted effort.
